We booked last minute and had a wonderful stay at Voyager Apartments. Barbara was friendly during check-in. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had a garage for our car. It was a pleasant 15-minute stroll along the waterfront. The location was perfect, just steps away from the lake. The heated pool was great for cooler mornings. The bed was huge and comfy, and the facilities were modern. The spa bath was a fun novelty. The staff were friendly and helped us book outings. We will definitely be back to this gem of a place.

Great facilities and well equipted compfortable accomodation. Our apartment had lots of room so it was nice to come back to and relax in the evening. Our daughter loved the hot pools and managed a swim every day we were there. Staff were lovely too.

Doesn't have a view of the lake even though it is tantilisingly close to it!

The apartment at Voyager Apartments was spacious and had plenty of room for me and my family. We loved the quiet location, yet it was still just a short walk to town. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated the well-equipped kitchen that allowed us to cook our own meals. The housekeeping staff were also helpful and attentive. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

The location was excellent, a couple of minutes drive to the centre of Taupo or it can be walked in about 10 minutes. We stayed in the older 1 bedroom unit. The kitchen and bathrooms look like they have recently been done up

The only negative I can think of is the bedroom. The mattress is in urgent need of replacement, it was the most uncomfortable sleep I had in a long time. The doona was also in need of replacement. It was yellow and had stains all over.

Good sized living area and outside space. Good location.

Staff were unhelpful. We had a two bedroom apartment, to sleep 4. We were surprised to learn there was a hefty supplement for having 4 people stay that was not included in the booking - this was a two bedroom apartment so 4 people should be standard. This made the apartment very expensive for what it was and should we have known this when booking then we would have pursued better value places elsewhere in town.

The Voyager Apartments were awesome! The spa bath was absolutely amazing, and the separate bedrooms were a nice touch. The shower had a fantastic massaging shower head, and the full kitchen was super convenient. We also loved that there was a washer/dryer combo - even though it was a bit temperamental. The location was great - close to restaurants and shops, and the staff were friendly and helpful. we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.

There was no morning paper on Sunday which we would have like to receive. The fittings inside were somewhat dated in the 1 bedroom unit we had. Not appealing.

Wow, what a stay! Loved the value for money, such a spacious and comfortable room. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. And the staff at Voyager Apartments were so welcoming and friendly.

The food for breakfast could have been better, maybe some more variety would be nice.

The upgrade to a decent room.

I must have made a mistake when booking and thought it said a washing machine was provided and was in the room description I thought all Quest hotels were on a par with the ones we had previously stayed in, which were excellent. Even if the original room had provided a washing machine I would have hesitated staying, because it was so dingy. The hotel had vacancies in a family room so we stayed in one of those. This was good but again, wasn't exceptional as there was no air conditioning in the upstairs double bedroom (though it was provided in the living area) which was very hot. However, heating was provided for when colder weather began.

Meals can be prepared in the fully equipped kitchen, ideal for families. Conveniently located near schools, golf course, river entrance, lake, parks, restaurants. Superior service and last room availability, as if they knew I was a VIP. Quiet location between town and industrial center, so peaceful. Great views from the private balcony.

Oh, wallpaper curling and old carpet wrinkles really gave the room character. So charming.

Main Bedroom is great. Living room especially for a big apartment with 2 bedrooms, and car parking

Second bedroom is too small. A small apartemnt for 2 bedrooms (I ordered 2 unit apartemen which contains 2 bedrooms- Got 1 big and 1 small ) really don't like the small one.

Nothing. Obnoxious front desk woman, no aircond on master bedroom, hence its stifling hot. That means you cannot rest in the room till sun sets & rooom is cooler.

The fully self-contained studios and apartments at Voyager Apartments Taupo are absolutely amazing. The king-size beds are so cozy, and the air conditioning keeps the room at the perfect temperature. Plus, having a kitchenette means we could cook our own meals whenever we wanted. It's like a home away from home!

Personally, I didn't really love the shower over bathtub in the second bathroom. But hey, that's just my preference.

Very clean & comfortable room & bed. Close to surrounding shops.

The Studio Apartment didn't have a hot plate. The kind receptionist ran around 2 other rooms but they didn't have one either for us to use. If there was a hot plate we couldn't use it anyway as not a single pot or pan was provided - pity... otherwise the stay would be been worth the money.
